How to make a call
You can use BT Chargecard by dialling a freephone access code. Please
click here for a list of access codes.
From the UK
- Dial the access code, either 144 or 0800 144 144.
- When prompted, enter your account number and PIN followed by #. (Enter # if shown on your card, prior to entering your account number and after entering your PIN).
- Dial the number you require including the local area code.
From abroad
- Dial the access code for the country you are in. Please see your user guide for a full list of countries.
- 2. When prompted, enter your account number and PIN followed by #. (Enter # if shown on your card, prior to entering your account number and after entering your PIN).
- 3. Dial the number you require. (If calling the UK include the area code, e.g. 01442, but do not include the international country code 0044. For all other countries dial 00 and the international country code). In some countries where direct dialling is not available you may be connected via an Operator*.
